Kitchen and Chef’s Chamber

The dishes intended for the tables of the Great Refectory were prepared in a kitchen adjacent to it on the north side, the most important element of which was a large hearth covered with a huge chimney hood. Next to the kitchen there was a small cook’s room and a utility warehouse.

A small room near the kitchen that used to be its back room. Wall decoration in the form of painted draperies was created at the beginning of the 20th century. In one corner of the room there is a picturesque fireplace with a wooden cornice. The room had sanitary facilities in the thickness of the western wall, with the remains of Gothic decorations painted on the walls.
