UNESCO

Made up entirely of illustrated text panels, the exhibition shows all the places, including buildings and areas, in Poland that have been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Malbork Castle joined that elite group of sites of significant value to the international community in 1997. For this reason, the Malbork Castle Museum has undertaken to provide information and educate its visitors on all memorials, architectural, urban and natural monuments that have been designated for special protection by the state.

View of the castle from the east. The defensive walls and behind them the niche of the church with the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Further on, the tower. In the foreground, on the green grass, lies a large stone with an inscription commemorating the inscription of the castle on the UNESCO World Heritage List
