Honorary award in the Most Beautiful Polish Books 2022 competition

The award was was received by our colleague Aleksandra Sobczak – the originator of the publishing concept and the main coordinator of the project, during the International Book Fair.

This publication is an excellent example of the fact that specialized issues, such as documentation and adaptation of architectural historical buildings to new functions, can be presented to readers in a modern and original, while at the same time logical and transparent way. The book intrigues from the first glance at the purely typographic cover with a postcard integrated into it. An original treatment can be observed in the the printing of miniatures of castle buildings on the edges of the book. The layout of the publication allows the reader to easily assimilate the text that has been included here in as many as four languages, which we learn from the first page of the cover. It is an intriguing and excellent design, typography and publishing concept, in which no element of the book has been omitted. – stated the committee during the award ceremony.
